How to Download TikTok Videos on iPhone
The fastest way to save a public TikTok video to Camera Roll without the watermark — using Safari and {{siteName}}, with no app install.
TikTok’s built-in Share → Save video option works, but it burns in the TikTok logo and username. On iPhone you also need a few Safari and Files tricks so the MP4 actually lands in Photos. This guide walks through the cleanest path using {{siteName}}.
What you’ll need
- An iPhone with Safari (Chrome on iOS works too)
- A public TikTok video link (private videos can’t be fetched)
- About 30 seconds — no app install, no account
Step 1 — Copy the TikTok link
- Open the TikTok app and find the video.
- Tap Share (the arrow icon).
- Tap Copy link.
Short links like vm.tiktok.com/… work the same as full tiktok.com URLs.
Step 2 — Paste into {{siteName}}
- Open Safari and go to {{siteName}}.
- Paste the link into the box on the homepage.
- Tap Download and wait a second for the preview.
- Choose MP4 · No Watermark (or HD if you want the highest resolution).
Step 3 — Save to Files, then Camera Roll
iOS often downloads the file into the Files app first. That’s normal.
- When Safari finishes, tap the download banner or open the Downloads icon in the toolbar.
- Tap the file → Share → Save Video.
- Open the Photos app — the clip should be in Recents / Camera Roll.
If “Save Video” is greyed out
Open Settings → Safari → Downloads and set the download location to On My iPhone (not iCloud Drive). Then try again. Some older iOS builds also need you to open the MP4 in Files first, then share to Photos.
Safari tips that save time
- Add {{siteName}} to your Home Screen — Share → Add to Home Screen — so you can paste links in one tap.
- Allow paste — if the Paste button asks for permission, tap Allow so you don’t retype links.
- Private videos fail — only public posts work. If you see an error, the account or video is likely private.
- Expired download links — TikTok signs media URLs briefly. If a save fails after a few minutes, paste the TikTok link again for a fresh file.
Watermark-free vs TikTok’s own save
Saving inside the TikTok app always includes branding. {{siteName}} returns the clean source MP4 TikTok already hosts — no logo overlay, ready for Camera Roll, Reels, or editing apps.
Common iPhone questions
Can I download without installing an app?
Yes. {{siteName}} runs in Safari (or Chrome on iOS). You never need a third-party App Store downloader.
Does this work on iPad?
Yes — same copy-link → paste → download flow. On iPadOS, Files and Photos behave like iPhone.
Can I save audio or slideshows too?
Yes. Use the MP3 converter for sound-only files, or the slideshow downloader for photo posts. See also our MP3 guide.
Use downloads responsibly
Keep personal copies for offline viewing or drafts. Credit creators if you share elsewhere, and do not republish or use content commercially without permission. Only public posts are supported.
