Saving TikTok Videos on Android

A simple Android flow for downloading clean TikTok videos to Downloads and Gallery — without the watermark.

Saving TikTok videos on Android

On Android, downloads usually go to a Downloads folder — but Chrome, Samsung Internet, and Firefox each behave a little differently, and Gallery apps don’t always scan new files instantly. Here’s a reliable workflow with {{siteName}}.

Step 1 — Copy the video link from TikTok

  1. Open TikTok and play the public video you want.
  2. Tap ShareCopy link.

You can also long-press a shared link in WhatsApp, Telegram, or Messages and copy it from there.

Step 2 — Download with {{siteName}}

  1. Open Chrome (or your default browser) and visit {{siteName}}.
  2. Paste the link and tap Download.
  3. Pick MP4 · No Watermark or HD MP4.
  4. Confirm the download when the browser asks — choose Download / Allow.

Step 3 — Find the file on your phone

Chrome / most Androids

  1. Swipe down the notification shade and tap the completed download, or
  2. Open the Files / My Files app → Downloads.
  3. Look for a file named something like username_videoid.mp4.
  4. Tap it to play, or tap Share → save / move into Gallery if needed.

Samsung Internet

Open the browser menu → Downloads, or use My Files → Downloads. Samsung Gallery usually picks up new MP4s within a few seconds.

If Gallery doesn’t show the video

  • Open Files, long-press the MP4 → Move into DCIM or Movies.
  • Restart Gallery, or reboot once — media scanners sometimes lag on large files.
  • On Android 13+, check that the browser has permission to write downloads (Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions).

MP3, slideshows, and photos

Audio downloads save as .mp3 in the same Downloads folder — open with any music player. Photo slideshows can be saved as a ZIP; unzip in Files, then open the images in Gallery.

Avoid the in-app watermark

TikTok’s own “Save video” always adds branding. {{siteName}} fetches the clean public media URL so your Gallery copy stays watermark-free and easier to reuse in edits or Stories.

Common Android questions

Can I convert to MP3 on Android?

Yes — use the MP3 tool or follow our MP3 guide.

Stories and photo posts?

See download TikTok stories and download slideshows.

Use downloads responsibly

Prefer personal archival use. Credit creators when you share, and do not claim someone else’s work as your own. Only public posts work with {{siteName}}.
